1. Arbor Pravail (“Pravail”): The only security product focused exclusively on stopping availability threats such as DDoS. Data center operators can now deploy Pravail APS in front of services to stop application-layer attacks and disrupt botnet communications. They can also integrate Pravail APS upstream with their providers' DDoS protection services to stop volumetric DDoS attacks.  On-premise DDoS protection providers the following

• Comprehensive distributed denial of service (DDoS) detection, mitigation and real-time reporting of data center attacks.
• Detect and block emerging application-layer DDoS attacks that simply cannot be detected in the cloud including attacks against HTTP/Web 2.0 application, DNS, and SMTP.
• Deploy a turnkey solution to stop threats immediately that can affect the availability of business critical services.
• Prevent illegitimate botnet communications by leveraging real-time security intelligence from Arbor’s Active Threat Level Analysis System (ATLAS).

Pravail APS can also complement and/or protect existing security products. For example, Pravail APS can be deployed in front of traditional firewalls or intrusion detection and protection systems (IDPSs) and act as a “first line of defense” that helps reduce the load and further optimize the performance of these devices.

2. Arbor Peakflow X (“Peakflow X”): Designed for internal enterprise networks, Peakflow X leverages IP flow data and deep packet inspection (DPI) to provide:

• Visibility into the applications/services running in your data center.
• The ability to detect internal threats to the IDC, such as botnets, worms, phishing, etc.
• Assistance in meeting regulatory obligations established by the Payment Card Industry (PCI) data security standard, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX), and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) by ensuring that confidential data is not being accessed or removed from your IDC by unauthorized personnel.

Arbor’s Security Engineering and Response Team (ASERT) underlies all of Arbor’s products. ASERT conducts global threat analysis, maintains a real-time security portal known as the Active Threat Level Analysis System (ATLAS), and provides consultation and security-related services such as the ATLAS Intelligence Feed (AIF) to Pravail customers and the Active Threat Feed (ATF) to Peakflow customers.
